Global MBA Program Rankings

MBA Program Rankings
Getting your MBA degree is an expensive, labor-intensive venture, so it is certainly worthwhile to compare the various schools to make sure that you are getting the best education possible for your money. When you have completed your MBA program, you may need to apply for jobs, and prospective employers look carefully at things like what school you got your education from. You can probably get a decent education at almost any school, if you try hard enough, but attending a highly-regarded institution will benefit you in many ways.

Top Ranked Schools

Harvard Business school consistently ranks among the top five schools – it was ranked second in 2016 after holding the top spot for 3 years. The school that took the top spot in 2016 was Insead, a business school with campuses in France, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi. The MBA program offered by Insead is a one year program, and this is the first time a one year program has ever taken top honors. In third place is London Business School, with the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania coming in fourth. The rest of the top ten are all based in the United States, and the rankings are available in the Financial Times.

Why its Important to choose the Right School

Attending a top-ranked school can give you many advantages throughout your life, not least of which is the prestige that a degree from that type of school carries with it. For that reason, it is a good idea to choose the best school that you can possibly afford to attend, and do what you need to do to meet the entrance criteria. Keep in mind that the higher ranked schools usually have more exacting entrance requirements, so you will need to work hard to fulfill them. Once you have achieved that goal, you can work towards your MBA degree knowing that it will most likely bring you success.
